The room
The high-ceilinged interior feels spacious and full of natural character. A comfortable double bed and décor built around locally crafted furniture from native wood create a warm, intimate space. The ensuite bathroom has a shower and toilet.

Around you
The cottage has its own small garden, surrounded by the plants and flowers of the private farmhouse compound, with the coffee farm beyond. The main lodge is a short walk away.

Meet the Sunbird
Sunbirds are Africa’s answer to the hummingbird: tiny, fast and dressed in shimmering metallic colours, they flit from flower to flower sipping nectar with long, curved bills. Uganda has dozens of species, and the flowering gardens around the cottage are exactly where they love to feed.
